Our Mission & Vision
Lethbridge Soccer Association’s mission is to serve our community stakeholders by providing fun, accessible programs, inclusive of all ages and stages, that range from recreational to high performance, inspiring growth, and development of the Lethbridge soccer community.
Unwavering in our desire to bring you the best soccer experience in Southern Alberta, LSA inspires a life-long love of the beautiful game through impactful outreach and comprehensive, inclusive programming.
Values
Our facility and programs are governed in these 5 core guiding principles.
The LSA BluePrint is an approach where step by step we build and develop players to their highest possible levels, from basic skills for players and coaches, to education of parents and athletes on the technical and tactical aspects of the game. All while promoting pathways in the best interest of the individual athlete, furthering soccer opportunities.
We want to build complete players, coaches, referees, and sport parents. We provide coaching education and resources from the house league to the competitive level. We have space for every level of player at every age. We want athletes to invest back into their soccer community by becoming quality coaches and referees. We want to collaborate with sport parents and share their athletes’ journey with them.
LSA understands it takes a village to play a soccer game and that we are all partners in the soccer community. We value respect, dignity, fair play, honour, excellence, and integrity.
When we learn we grow, and when we learn as athletes we improve. When we learn as coaches we inspire, when we learn as parents we support, and when we learn as a club we succeed. LSA is invested in the growth of our participants and the growth of the game in Lethbridge.
In order to keep providing quality soccer we must act in a fiscally responsible manner. We continue to operate cost effective and affordable programs and to develop diversified sports, leisure and recreational events that will attract provincial, national, and international competitions and future re-investment in our facility. Our volunteers and staff guide and partner with our stakeholders to keep moving forward in our goal to support all athletes at every stage in their lifelong soccer journey.
