WELCOME COACHES, PLAYERS & PARENTS!
On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff of the Lethbridge Soccer Association we hope your child has all the fun young boys and girls should. Soccer is an energetic game with lots of enthusiasm and team building. We hope your child enjoys his/her soccer season and continues in this activity for many more years. Please know, if you have any questions, do not hesitate in calling the soccer office. Good luck and remember to have fun…it’s only a game.
Jerseys are provided to all mini soccer players and to be returned to your coach following your final game. Shinguards (not supplied) are mandatory for all games. Soccer socks will be provided and must be worn over shinguards and the socks are for the players to keep. We recommend that you provide a water bottle and please dress your child for the weather.
Please note the date for the Inaugural Lethbridge SoccerFEST is Saturday, June 23rd, 2007. Lots of prizes are available to be won. This wind-up/fundraising event ensures the growth of equipment for the outdoor soccer fields around Lethbridge. Further information is enclosed in the SoccerFEST envelope.
Photographs:
Team photos are scheduled for every team. Your photo time is listed on your schedule. The process for photos will be as follows: If you are scheduled for 6pm, 3 teams may be scheduled, and the first team ready for the 6pm slot will do the team photo first and this will take no more then 3 – 5 minutes depending on the cooperation of the kids. After the team photo, all kids will take individual shots with a different photographer.
The whole process will only take 10 – 15 minutes but if your team is not ready you will start 15 minutes after your scheduled time. NOTE: We ask all parents to not stand behind the photographers and preferably to the side. We thank you for your patience.
Photos will take place at Community Savings Place (Soccer Centre) on the east side of the building. Photos are by Chinook County Photo. Photo’s will be distributed during the last week of games OR at the SoccerFEST for the U10 and younger categories.
At the coaches meeting you will receive photo envelopes for each player on your team. They are for those players wishing to get individual photos. They are not required for your team picture, which each player will receive a team photo as part of their registration. If a player wants individual photos, they must have the envelope filled out with the proper amount of money inside.
